Personal tax returns

We prepare all personal returns at very reasonable rates — and if you can’t get out to us, we’ll come to you. Part of good service is asking questions: that’s how we learn your situation, and how we find credits people never knew they qualified for. The Caregiver Credit and gluten-free medical expenses are two we see often.

From $85 + HST. Sole proprietorships from $275.

A special rate for seniors

We strongly believe seniors have paid their dues and deserve a break, so we do your return at a deep discount. Unless you’re running a small business on the side, a senior’s personal return is $65 + HST.

Corporate tax returns

Full corporate returns, including all year-end adjusting entries. Some industries must have their returns done by certified specialists who charge a lot — so we go over your books, make corrections and enter the necessary journal entries first, keeping their time (and your bill) to a minimum.

$1,650 + HST, all year-end adjusting entries included. Ask about our corporate tax special rate.

GST/HST returns

If CBTS does your bookkeeping, your GST/HST returns typically fall under that service. If not, a review has to be done before filing — it matters, because some things can’t be fully claimed (the whole amount of HST paid on meals and entertainment, for example). That’s why it’s best to have a professional.

$60 + HST an hour.

Behind on filing?

The CRA is one of the biggest collection agencies in the world, so it’s in your best interest to avoid the extra fees and interest. We get late filers caught up. And if an audit ever comes: everyone at the CRA we’ve dealt with has been reasonable, and calm, organized records go a long way. Read: Surviving an audit
